About Me Like Bees:

Emerging from the indie rock scene of the 2000s, Me Like Bees is a testament to the transformative power of music. Hailing from Joplin, MO, the band was founded by high school friends and music enthusiasts Pete Burton and Luke Sheafer in 2009. Their journey from small-town beginnings to acclaimed indie rockers is nothing short of inspirational.

Influenced by iconic bands like The Strokes, Modest Mouse, The White Stripes, and Franz Ferdinand, Me Like Bees has carved out a niche with their danceable, guitar-driven rock sound. Their debut album, The Ides, released in 2013 through Loveway Records, set the tone for their rise in the music world.

In 2014, Me Like Bees won the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, outshining over 20,000 competitors and earning a coveted spot on the Vans Warped Tour. Their EP, There Will Be Time, produced by Goldfinger’s John Feldmann, further solidified their reputation for crafting memorable and dynamic music.

Their creativity extends beyond music, collaborating with Image Comics and artist Jeremy Haun for the 2018 EP Songs From The Realm, inspired by a graphic novel.
